Purpose:
Encourage soil health by making funds available for cover crops, no-till and pollinator habitats.

SOIL HEALTH & WATER QUALITY
Purpose:
Provide Technical Assistance through the services of a Watershed Specialist:
Encourage the adoption of Best Management Practices on both agricultural and urban lands to improve soil health and water quality through a Cost-Share program
Design and host educational events to reach stakeholders throughout the Yellow River Watershed and beyond.

Purpose:
Raise awareness of the role raingardens can play in managing stormwater runoff and encourage residents and business owners to install raingardens by offering financial assistance.

UPPER HEADWATERS YELLOW RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT PLAN (WMP)
Purpose:
Identify and prioritize the opportunities to improve water quality in the Upper Headwaters Yellow River Watershed. Increase knowledge of Best Managment Practices (BMP) throughout the watershed.

LANDSCAPE LEVEL WETLAND FUNCTIONAL ASSESSMENT (LLWFA)
Purpose:
Analyzing existing wetlands to determine their functional significance in the Headwaters Yellow River Watershed to allow for the prioritization, protection and restoration.
